I want to send a special THANK YOU to all of the Miss New York America Staff, Board of Directors and Contestants for making my experience at the Miss New York America Pageant so wonderful. The pageant was wonderful! I placed in the top ten and won overall talent. Thanks to my teachers for preparing me. I preformed “Quando Men Vo”. To my family and friends who came to support me, Thank You! To Alyse, Miss New York 2009, Congradulations! You are beautiful inside and out.

The theme for the movie “A Fonder Heart” is closed to being finished. July 14, we gathered in the Big 3 Studios (Clearwater, FL.) while a 12 string orchestra recorded another layer of the accompaniment. The song is completely different from when it started out. First piano, Second adding guitar and Third adding the strings. I can’t wait till the song is finished. It’s one of the most beautiful songs that I have worked on. The music and lyrics are so moving and inspirational. I am still awaiting my time to act in the movie. I will keep you posted on when the “A Fonder Heart” filming will take place. I am so excited.

July 7-11 I helped out at the Miss Galaxy International Pageant. Since I was a past international titleholder (Miss Teen Galaxy International 07-08) I had a chance to see some old friends. I have coached a few girls for pageants, but it’s completely different when you are competing than if you are assisting the contestants. Its challenging to compete, although I have to admit its takes a lot of work to help a bunch of girls. I had a wonderful time and the pageant turned out beautifully. Congratulations to all of the girls who competed. After the Miss New York pageant I took my eleven family members (who came to the pageant) to New York City. For most of my family this was their first time to The Big Apple. I was proud to show them around where I live. After having fun the city, I went to Florida to spend more time with family. I have been so busy with school, my volunteer efforts and the pageant it was nice to relax with my family for a few weeks.  In Florida with one of my best friends. |
