I had such a great time last night, it seemed like attending another Halloween Party would be fun. My friend and I went to Tavern On The Green to join the hundreds other people that were there. It was crowded you couldn’t even move so we decided to meet up with some other friends and left. The evening was great and I’m looking forward to next year’s events.

![]() Queen of Hearts October 30, 2009 Yes, my costume was Queen Of Hearts. My friends and I had a great time. We started out by having a delicious meal which was really wonderful at my friend, Steven Palm’s Restaurant in the gorgeous Bronxville, NY. Bronxville is like a little England, the houses and the town is so quaint. The cover band was fantastic as well, “Teri Lamar and New Company’s.” The band was so nice they let me open for them after their break, and sing a little opera. ![]() One of my Best Friends, Corinne. ![]() Steven Palm (Kid Rock) and Corinne |

The “Brightest Star Awards” which recognizes the amazing talents and achievements by individuals with development disabilities, required all the participants to have a 3 minute interview showing off their accomplishments. As the mentor for Helene Benton, I visited her on October 10, 2009 to help her put her interview together. We had such an amazing time! There is so much we can learn from Helene Benton. Helene sticks up for herself and what she believes in. She is responsible about her health, her medications, exercising and eating well. Helene loves to volunteer and helps out in her community every Thursday volunteering at a soup kitchen and reading to children. Helene is always there to help others and has helped her father through tough times. She believes family is important and has a very close relationship with her father. She also watches out for her friends and brightens up every room she is in. I am honored to be Helen’s mentor, she has greatly inspired me. GOOD LUCK on November 14th. |

On October 3 I attended and performed at my 3rd annual “Locks of Love Event” at Hyde Park in Tampa, Florida. Silvia and Tom who run the event are the sweetest people I have ever met! We raised over 500 hundred dollars that day with over 30 pony tails. It was an exciting event filled with singing, magic tricks from Pirate Steve and lots of hair. People all ages came and donated their hair to the Locks of Love Foundation. Locks of Love collects real hair (10 inches minimum) to make wigs for children who have lots their hair because of cancer or other disease. Thank you to all who donated! PICTURES WILL BE POSTED SOON….. |

I had the honor to sing the National Anthem at the Yankees versus Rays game in Tampa to a crowd of over 30,000 fans. What a wonderful experience I will always treasure. As a the youth spokesperson for the NACDD (National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence), I was representing on their behalf as well as the Miss New York America System as “Miss Metropolitan.” I am looking forward to singing the National Anthem at a Yankees hometown game next season. ![]() With Ola Guza Miss Jr. Galaxy International ![]() Isn't He Cute |
